Amit Shah to Lead BJP Campaign in Hyderabad’s Old City with a Roadshow
Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to lead a campaign roadshow. Today for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Hyderabad’s Old City. Telangana BJP president G. Kishan Reddy, Rajya Sabha MP K. Laxman, and other party leaders will also participate in the event. Which is set to begin at 4:30 pm from Mahankali Temple, Laldarwaza, to Sudha Talkies, Shalibanda.
This event marks the first time a senior BJP leader has taken part in an election rally in Hyderabad’s Old City. Indicating the party’s efforts to strengthen its presence in the region. Previously, Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Anurag Thakur attended the nomination rally for Madhavi Latha, the BJP candidate, urging voters to support the party.
However, there is uncertainty about the participation of Goshamahal MLA T Raja Singh, who was absent during Madhavi Latha’s nomination rally. His attendance at today’s roadshow remains unconfirmed.

Madhavi Latha has been vocal in her criticism of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM). And Congress, accusing them of winning elections by “spreading hate and terrorizing people.” She also claimed that AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi has failed to undertake any significant development work in the Hyderabad Lok Sabha constituency over the past 40 years.
The Lok Sabha elections in Telangana, including the Hyderabad Parliamentary seat. Are set for May 13, part of the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. In the previous general elections in 2019, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) secured nine seats, while the BJP won four. Congress claimed three seats, and AIMIM secured one.
