Arshad Warsi on Prabhas’ Joker Comment: “I’ll Love Every Actor for Life”
Arshad Warsi recently addressed the controversy surrounding his comment on Prabhas’ character in Kalki 2898 AD. His remark didn’t sit well with many fans and sparked backlash. In an interview, Arshad admitted he was initially surprised by the negative reactions but has since moved on, saying it no longer affects him.
The Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. star shared that while everyone has the right to their own opinion, negativity no longer bothers him, adding that he’s grown accustomed to dealing with criticism. He explained, “If you’re a positive person, negativity does affect you at first. But after facing criticism over time, it no longer fazes me.”
When asked about disabling the comments on his Instagram, Arshad humorously admitted he wasn’t even sure how to do that. He also acknowledged that the incident has made him more cautious about his public remarks. “Yes, I’ve decided I’ll love every movie I watch and every actor for the rest of my life,” he joked.

The controversy began during a conversation with YouTuber Samdish Bhatia, where Arshad praised Amitabh Bachchan’s performance in Kalki 2898 AD but made a critical remark about Prabhas, saying his character looked like a “joker” and that he expected something more along the lines of Mad Max‘s Mel Gibson.
Following the comments, both director Nag Ashwin and actor Nani appeared to express their displeasure. Arshad later clarified that his criticism was aimed at the character, not Prabhas himself.
On a different note, Arshad is gearing up for his upcoming film Bandaa Singh, which is set to release on October 25.
