Baahubali 3 Confirmed but Not Announced Yet, Says Producer Shobhu Yarlagadda
The makers of the legendary Baahubali franchise are revisiting their magnum opus with a new cinematic experience titled Baahubali: The Epic. The film, which merges both parts of the original saga into a reimagined and visually enhanced version, is set for a grand release on October 31. With promotions in full swing, the team has started addressing the buzz surrounding the project.
In a recent conversation with Gulte.com, producer Shobhu Yarlagadda addressed ongoing speculations about Baahubali 3. Fans had been eagerly anticipating an official announcement regarding the much-rumored third installment, especially with The Epic nearing release. However, Shobhu clarified that there won’t be any Baahubali 3 announcement during the promotions or the release of The Epic.

He did, however, confirm that Baahubali 3 is indeed in the pipeline. The producer explained that while the project is very much on the cards. It is still in the early stages of development, with significant groundwork yet to be completed. Therefore, it may take some time before production officially begins.
Interestingly, Shobhu hinted that audiences can still expect some surprises from the team. Likely to be revealed toward the end of Baahubali: The Epic.
Directed by SS Rajamouli, the Baahubali franchise stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, and Tamannaah Bhatia, and remains one of the most celebrated cinematic sagas in Indian film history. As excitement builds for The Epic, fans eagerly await what new elements the makers have woven into this grand retelling.
