Baahubali: The Epic to Release at Regular Ticket Prices Worldwide
In recent years, rising movie ticket prices have become a major concern for audiences. Whether for small or big-budget films, increased rates have often left moviegoers burdened. Only on rare occasions, when the authorities denied ticket hikes, did viewers find some relief.
This practice largely began with SS Rajamouli’s films, which justified higher prices due to their grand scale and massive production value. Audiences accepted the logic for his movies, given the unparalleled cinematic experience they delivered. However, over time, many producers began to follow suit, leading to dissatisfaction among viewers who felt that not every film warranted premium pricing.
Rajamouli, who is currently working on his ambitious global adventure film with Mahesh Babu slated for release in March 2027. Now set to bring Baahubali: The Epic to theatres. This version merges both parts of the Baahubali franchise into a single, remastered cinematic experience. Scheduled for a worldwide release on October 31. The makers promise it will be the most visually stunning version ever made.

Interestingly, unlike the usual trend, there will be no ticket price hike for Baahubali: The Epic. Sources close to the production confirmed that the movie will release at standard ticket rates across all theatres — both in India and overseas. Even in international markets where Telugu films typically cost more, the prices will remain unchanged.
Directed by SS Rajamouli and starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, and Tamannaah. The film is produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni, with music by MM Keeravani. It will be available in premium formats such as IMAX, Dolby Cinema, 4DX, D-Box, and EpiQ — delivering a larger-than-life visual experience at regular prices.
