The TDP-led alliance has secured a landslide victory in the recent elections, leading in 158 out of 175 Assembly constituencies. This overwhelming majority ensures that Naidu will once again helm the state’s leadership.
Naidu also holds the distinction of being the first Chief Minister of the residuary state of Andhra Pradesh following its bifurcation in 2014. His political career, marked by significant achievements and challenges. Saw a major setback in 2019 when the TDP was decisively defeated by the YSR Congress Party.
