Superstar Chiranjeevi expressed his condolences and solidarity with those affected by the tragic landslides in Wayanad, Kerala, through a heartfelt message on social media. He announced, along with his son Ram Charan, their decision to contribute significantly to the relief efforts by donating Rs 1 crore to the Kerala Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
In his post, the actor wrote, “Deeply distressed by the devastation and loss of hundreds of precious lives in Kerala due to nature’s fury in the last few days. My heart goes out to the victims of the Wayanad tragedy.” This contribution is part of a larger wave of support from celebrities across the South Indian film industry. Other stars like Suriya, Jyotika, Fahadh Faasil and his wife Nazriya. Chiyaan Vikram, Nayanthara and Vignesh, Allu Arjun, and more have also extended their help to those affected by the landslide.

On the professional front, Chiranjeevi is gearing up for the release of his next film, Vishwambhara. Directed by Vassishta, this socio-fantasy drama marks the 156th film of the Bhola Shankar actor. The film also features talented actors such as Trisha Krishnan, Surbhi, Harsha Vardhan, Vennela Kishore, Praveen, and Isha Chawla in pivotal roles.
The legendary music composer M.M. Keerawani is handling the music, while Chota K. Naidu is overseeing the cinematography. Vishwambhara is scheduled for release on January 10, 2025, in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi, and Malayalam.
As for Ram Charan, the actor will next appear in S Shankar’s directorial Game Changer alongside Kiara Advani. According to producer Dil Raju, this political thriller is set to release this Christmas.
