An influencer couple, known as the “Spiderman couple,” found themselves in legal trouble. After their latest Instagram reel drew the attention of the Delhi police. The couple, dressed as Spiderman and Spider-Woman, was seen performing motorcycle stunts on the streets of South West Delhi’s Dwarka without safety gear, including helmets.
After their video went viral, the Delhi traffic police arrested them on Friday. For violating traffic rules, such as riding a motorcycle without mirrors and a number plate.
Aditya and his friend Anjali, the duo behind the Instagram reel titled “Spiderman Najafgarh Part 5.” Filmed themselves in superhero costumes performing stunts on a motorcycle. The video depicts Spider-Woman exiting a metro station to meet Spiderman. And then they shake hands before riding off on a motorcycle through Delhi’s streets.

The reel’s virality led to swift action by the Delhi traffic police, who apprehended the pair for breaking several traffic regulations, including not wearing helmets. According to sources, they were issued a challan under the Motor Vehicle Act.
This wasn’t the first time Aditya, also known as the self-styled Najafgarh Spiderman, caused a stir with his public stunts. The 20-year-old has an Instagram account named “Indian Spidey Official,” where he shares videos of his stunts.
His account tagline is “Your Friendly Neighborhood Indian Spidey,” and he has over 9,800 followers. Despite the entertaining nature of his content, his disregard for traffic safety rules led to his arrest, highlighting the risks of seeking online fame through reckless behavior.
