Double Ismart song row: Remove KCR’s dialogue warns BRS activists

Puri Jagannath is known for his raw dialogues which are unfiltered. This time the lyrics are from the recently released song from the upcoming film, Double Ismart.

The latest song from Ram Pothineni and Kavya Thapar, “Maar Muntha Chod Chintha,” was released yesterday, stirring controversy with its inclusion of a famous line from Telangana’s former Chief Minister KCR. The line, “Em Jeddamantav Mari,” is widely recognized and frequently used in memes, but its use in the song has sparked backlash from the BRS women’s activists.

BRS leader Pavani Goud expressed strong objections to the inclusion of KCR’s words in a song that depicts themes of liquor and drunkards. She conveyed her frustration, arguing that it was disrespectful to use the leader’s words in such a context.

The BRS women activists are demanding that director Puri Jagannadh remove the dialogue from the song immediately. They have also threatened to attack his house and boycott the film in Telangana if their demands are not met.

As tensions rise, the film industry and fans are keenly watching how Puri Jagannadh will respond to the activists’ demands.
