During an interview, Nani, who starred in the original film, discussed the possibility of a sequel. He recounted a humorous exchange he had with Rajamouli, noting that while he hadn’t asked writer Vijayendra Prasad directly about it, he and Rajamouli had a playful chat on the topic. Rajamouli jokingly remarked that just one fly would be enough to bring the character back in a sequel. Nani praised Rajamouli’s boldness and creativity in bringing the original film to life and expressed confidence that the director would pursue a sequel when the right idea came along.
