Historic re-entry of Chandrababu Naidu into the Assembly
Back in 2021, then-opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu walked out of the AP assembly after enduring severe mistreatment. There were complaints that Naidu wasn’t given adequate time to address public issues. More shockingly, certain YCP MLAs hurled abuses at Naidu’s family members. This incident prompted Naidu to walk out of the assembly. Vowing to return only as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
Following an intensely fought political battle and a vigorous election campaign. Chandrababu Naidu led the TDP+ alliance to a resounding victory in both the assembly and parliamentary elections. As promised, Naidu has now returned to the assembly as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

The TDP+ alliance secured a remarkable 164 out of 175 seats, and Naidu is now seated in the CM chair in the assembly, a position the TDP alleges was grossly misused by the YCP over the past five years.
Chandrababu’s dramatic comeback, from being abused and forced to walk out of the assembly in 2021 to return with over 90% of the assembly seats, has become a widely discussed topic on social media. Today, he took the oath in the assembly, marking a significant moment in AP’s political landscape.
