Abhishek Bachchan, who was a part of the 2016 movie Housefull 3, has joined the cast of the 5th installment of the franchise. Housefull is a popular movie series, and fans have been eagerly waiting for the fifth movie.
Producer Sajid Nadiadwala has announced that Abhishek Bachchan is returning to the star-studded cast, which includes Akshay Kumar, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Chunky Pandey in key roles. With his excellent comedic timing, Abhishek’s addition to the cast promises even more laughter and entertainment.
The filming of the movie is scheduled to start in the UK in August 2024 and it is expected to be an uproarious adventure. Sajid Nadiadwala expressed his delight saying, “I am thrilled to bring Abhishek back to the Housefull franchise. His dedication, comic timing, and sincerity will only elevate our film.”
Housefull is a popular Hindi comedy movie franchise that has already released four installments. The franchise is now all set to release its fifth installment, making it the first Hindi cinema franchise to reach this milestone. The release date for Housefull 5 is June 6, 2025.

Abhishek Bachchan, who has previously worked in the franchise, expressed his excitement about working on the upcoming movie. He said, “Housefull is one of my favorite comedy franchises, and coming back feels like returning home.
It’s always been a great pleasure to work with Sajid Nadiadwala. I am looking forward to having mad fun on the sets with my fellow actors, Akshay and Ritesh. I’m also so excited to collaborate again with my dear friend Tarun Mansukhani. I’m really looking forward to working with him again after Dostana. This is going to be a lot of fun.”
The first Housefull movie was released in 2010 and starred Akshay Kumar with Jiah Khan, Arjun Rampal, Jacqueline Fernandez, Lara Dutta, and Chunky Panday in the lead. The second movie hit theatres in 2012, while Housefull 3 and 4 were released in 2016 and 2019. Housefull 5 will be directed by Tarun Mansukhani and is set to hit theatres in 2024.
