Hyderabad Police Ensures Security Measures for Sri Rama Navami Shobha Yatra on April 17
City Police Commissioner K Sreenivasa Reddy chaired a meeting on Friday at Seetharambagh in Mangalhat. To discuss extensive security measures for the upcoming “Shobha Yatra” in celebration of the Sri Rama Navami festival on April 17.
The meeting was attended by senior officials from various key departments including the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). Telangana Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TSSPDCL), Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB). As well as the Telangana Transport and Fire Services Departments, alongside members of the Bhagyanagar Sri Rama Navami Utsav Samithi.

Following the meeting, officials conducted inspections along the planned route and identified sensitive areas where the procession will pass. Starting from Seetharambagh and concluding at Hanuman Vyayamshala near Badichowdi in Koti. The procession is set to traverse prominent thoroughfares such as Dhoolpet, Begum Bazaar, and various other lanes before reaching its final destination.
The primary objective behind organizing the meeting was to ensure seamless coordination among all participating departments to guarantee the successful execution of the yatra.
