Janhvi Kapoor Talks about Jr NTR: “It Takes Me 10 Minutes, But –
Jr NTR’s upcoming high-octane action thriller, Devara, is nearing completion, with the filmmakers sparing no effort to ensure it lives up to expectations. Written and directed by Koratala Siva, this action drama marks the Tollywood debut of Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. The film is a few portions and two songs away from wrapping up, with Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor currently shooting for the songs in Hyderabad.
Devara is a crucial project for Koratala Siva, Jr NTR, and Janhvi Kapoor. Siva needs a success, Jr NTR aims to match the success of his previous release, RRR, and she is making her South Indian debut. The film will be released in two parts, with the first part hitting theaters on September 27.
Janhvi Kapoor on Her Tollywood Debut
While promoting her Bollywood release Ulajh, she has been sharing insights about her Telugu debut. She has also signed two more Telugu projects, including one with Ram Charan directed by Buchi Babu Sana. Speaking about her experience in Tollywood, she said, “I really like their work culture and the respect they have for cinema and art. They trust the story. Director Siva is very calm and handles everything smoothly. It is easy to work with him.”
Janhvi, who had expressed a desire to work with Jr NTR before signing Devara, was amazed by his talent. “Tarak is energetic and he lights up the set. I shot for a song recently and was surprised by his speed and attention. He can get the steps right in one second, while it took me ten days. I am already practicing for the next song,” she said.
