According to a prominent Bollywood trade analyst, the movie’s performance in the small town of Tonk, Rajasthan, is a clear indicator of its blockbuster status. “Even a 20% start here would be considered good, but ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has achieved an impressive 77% occupancy in its first show at the ‘D’ class center of Tonk,” the analyst stated. Remarkably, during the 3-hour screening at Angel Multiplex in Tonk, the audience applauded nearly 25 times with whistles and cheers.
