Manmadhudu actress Anshu Ambani has stated that she would like to get back to acting again. She expressed her desire to act, during an interview she said that she now owns a fashion label.
According to a few reports, it is speculated that she might have a comeback with Trivikram and Jr.NTR. It has been many years since we have seen her on the silver screen. We wish to have a treat watching her on the screen again.
It was Kabir Lal, the cameraman who spotted Anshu and introduced her to Trivikram. Who then roped her into the movie Manmadhudu opposite Nagarjuna. Making it the start of her acting career.
After her first debut film Manmadhudu, she also starred in Raghavendra pairing opposite Prabhas and also was the lead actress in the Tamil movie ‘Jai’. She has left movies after her marriage, despite having gained popularity in a short period.
Anshu married Sachin Saggar, a London-based businessman. She lives in London along with her family. Post marriage she did not show much interest in acting. But in one of her recent interviews, she said publicly that she wants to make a comeback to the films.
Manmadhudu movie was released in December 2002 and won Nandi Award for Best Feature Film in 2004. It became an All Time Blockbuster. This was also remade into a Kannada film, Aishwarya and Priyotoma in Bengali. Manmadhudu 2 was also released in 2019.
This movie was produced by Nagarjuna and Annapurna Studios. Apart from Nagarjuna and Anshu, Sonali Bendre was also the lead in the movie. Devi Sri Prasad composed the music.
Anshu in NTR’s 30?
NTR’s 30 is in collaboration with Trvikram which comes after his much-acclaimed commercial film, Aravindha Sametha Veera Raghava. The shoot is yet to begin. Only time can make things clear on this.
