Alia, who made her Met Gala debut last year, was somewhat of a surprise attendee this time. As her appearance had not been confirmed ahead of the event.

Is not just a nod to the ethereal quality of the garden in Ballard’s story, but also a tribute to the exquisite, enduring craft of sari-making.”

Alia Bhatt made her Met Gala debut last year in a Prabal Gurung dress. Since then, she’s ventured into Hollywood with her role in the Netflix film Heart Of Stone, starring alongside Gal Gadot. Her latest Bollywood release was Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, directed by Karan Johar. Currently, she’s working on her next film, Jigra, which she’s also producing.
