Nagarjuna Joins Rajinikanth’s Coolie
The team behind the highly anticipated film Coolie, featuring Rajinikanth in the lead, has just revealed Nagarjuna’s first look in the Lokesh Kanagaraj-directed project. As Coolie marks Rajinikanth’s 171st film, excitement around the movie is palpable. To celebrate Nagarjuna’s 65th birthday, the filmmakers shared a striking character poster that introduces him to the cast.
In the captivating black-and-white poster, Nagarjuna sports a stylish and intense look. Complete with a rugged beard, mustache, dark sunglasses, and a gold watch. He will portray a character named Simon in the film. Director Lokesh Kanagaraj expressed his excitement on social media, saying, “Thrilled to have King @iamnagarjuna sir on board as #Simon in #Coolie. Wishing you a very happy birthday, sir.”

Just a day before, Manjummel Boys fame Soubin Shahir was also welcomed to the Coolie team. Lokesh Kanagaraj unveiled Shahir’s first look as Dayal, showing the actor with a cigarette and a focus on a gold wristwatch.
Coolie has been generating considerable buzz among fans. With recent speculation that Aamir Khan may make a cameo appearance in the film. This potential collaboration would reunite Khan and Rajinikanth after their previous work together in Aatank Hi Aatank.
In addition, it has been confirmed that Kannada star Upendra Rao will play a significant role in Coolie. The film’s ensemble cast includes Shruti Haasan and Sathyaraj, with Rajinikanth and Sathyaraj sharing the screen for the first time in three decades.
