Mahesh Babu has lent his voice to the iconic character of Mufasa. In Disney’s highly anticipated Mufasa: The Lion King, which hits theaters on December 20th. At a press event held by Disney today, Namrata Shirodkar, Mahesh’s wife, shared insights into the project and his involvement.
Speaking on Mahesh’s absence, Namrata said, “It’s unfortunate that Mahesh couldn’t join us for this wonderful event. But I’m incredibly grateful to Disney and Shiva Prasad for making this happen. I can’t wait to watch the film with all of you on December 20th.”
Namrata also reflected on the emotional impact of the movie, stating. “As a lifelong fan of Disney and The Lion King, seeing Mufasa’s story come to life on screen was truly moving. In addition to Mahesh Babu, several other renowned Telugu actors, including Brahmanandam, Ali, Satyadev, and Ayyappa Sharma, have lent their voices to the film, making it a star-studded affair in the Telugu dubbing space.
