Pavan Kalyan OG – to Resume Shooting Post Andhra Pradesh Elections
Power star Pawan Kalyan is gearing up for his upcoming venture titled ‘OG’ (Original Gangster). Directed by Sujith and produced by DVV Danayya, renowned for the epic ‘RRR’. The ongoing production of this film has piqued considerable interest among fans. Starring Priyank Arul Mohan and Sriya Reddy in pivotal roles. The project has faced delays primarily due to Kalyan’s political engagements, extending until May this year.
Following the conclusion of the Andhra Pradesh assembly elections in early June. Kalyan is anticipated to recommence filming for ‘OG’ by late July or early August. The initial leg of shooting took place in Mumbai, and the plan is to wrap up the remaining segments in a single schedule. Producer DVV Danayya recently affirmed a grand release slated for September 27th, much to the excitement of aficionados.

Apart from the lead cast, the film boasts a stellar supporting lineup, featuring Bollywood heartthrob Emraan Hashmi making his Telugu debut as the antagonist, along with Arjun Das from the Malayalam industry, and seasoned actors Prakash Raj and Ajay Ghosh. ‘OG’ is being mounted on an extravagant scale, and marking one of Pawan Kalyan’s most substantial budgets till date.
On the technical front, ‘OG’ boasts Ravi K Chandran as the cinematographer, Thaman S as the music composer, and Naveen Nooli handling editing responsibilities. With DVV Entertainment bankrolling the project with an estimated budget of around Rs 20 Crore, fans eagerly await its release following Danayya’s recent announcement at a promotional event.
