Pawan Kalyan OG Locks September Solo Release

The long wait is over for Pawan Kalyan fans, as the much-anticipated film OG finally has a release date. DVV Entertainment has officially announced that the film will hit the big screens on September 25.

Interestingly, OG was eyeing the same release window as Akhanda 2 and Sambarala Yeti Gattu, but both those films have reportedly faced production setbacks and are unlikely to make it on time. With the competition clearing out, OG is set for a grand solo release. Sources say the decision was made in coordination with other producers to avoid box office clashes.

The release date is strategically chosen, aligning with a series of holidays from late September through early October. This gives OG a golden opportunity to make a strong opening at the box office—even a decent reception could translate to massive collections thanks to the festive advantage.

Pawan Kalyan OG Locks September Solo Release

Despite his packed political schedule, Pawan Kalyan has remained committed to his film shoots. He recently wrapped up work on Hari Hara Veera Mallu and is expected to start Ustaad Bhagat Singh soon. Meanwhile, director Sujeeth is working at a brisk pace to ensure OG is completed on time.

Once Hari Hara Veera Mallu finishes its theatrical run, the promotional campaign for OG will kick into high gear. This intense gangster saga stars Priyanka Arul Mohan opposite Pawan, with Emraan Hashmi playing the antagonist in his Telugu debut.

Rumors are swirling that OG could be released in two parts, though there’s no official confirmation yet. With Thaman scoring the music, expectations for the film’s soundtrack and overall impact are sky-high.
