Pawan Kalyan, a popular Telugu actor-turned-politician, has teamed up with director Krish Jagarlamudi.For a historical action-drama titled Hari Hara Veera Mallu Part 1. The teaser has been released, and it depicts Pawan Kalyan as a rebel who fights for the people oppressed by a Mughal emperor. The film promotes Pawan Kalyan as a savior of the people.
The teaser shows the oppression of the native king by the Nawab of the region. Who is in turn oppressed by the emperor. Bobby Deol has been roped in to play the antagonist in the film. He is seen as a sword-wielding warrior, stylishly dressed in red, fighting against the oppressors. The teaser has been released in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.

The film has an impressive production design and is being produced by A Dayakar Rao under Mega Surya Film, with AM Rathnam presenting the movie. MM Keeravani, an Oscar winner, has composed the songs and background score. Nidhhi Agerwal, M. Nassar, Sunil, Raghubabu, Subbaraju, and Nora Fatehi play important roles in the film.
Earlier, there were rumors that the film may be shelved as he is focusing on politics. However, the actor promised that the film would be released. The delay in the making is due to the extensive CGI work required as the film is set in the 17th century.
