In a major move, Pawan Kalyan has issued the first major order as a forestry minister. To stop those running the red sandalwood smuggling operations in AP. Orders were given to the police department to take immediate action for someone who was transporting and involved in the smuggling.

Pawan also pointed out that sandalwood logs belonging to Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy and Mithun Reddy were caught in Nepal. And the case is still under investigation on his desk. This suggests that Pawan suspects Peddireddy’s involvement in the operation.
The Deputy CM has called for increased surveillance at the sandalwood dumping yard in Kadapa and additional checkposts to intercept the logs. It’s clear that Pawan’s first major directive in the forestry department aims to apprehend the “Pushpa Rajs” (smugglers) associated with YCP who were part of the trade.
