Pawan Kalyan’s OG Premieres on Netflix — Fans Left Wanting More
Pawan Kalyan’s They Call Him OG stormed the box office earlier this year, becoming the biggest Telugu blockbuster of 2025. Directed by Sujeeth, the intense action drama has now made its way to Netflix, available for streaming in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
However, the OTT release has stirred disappointment among fans. Many were hoping for an uncut or extended version featuring the scenes and moments teased in promotional clips. Instead, Netflix has uploaded the same theatrical cut, including the popular “Kiss Kiss Bang Bang” song but missing several fan-favorite sequences. Social media has been flooded with posts expressing frustration over the trimmed content, with viewers calling on the makers to release the deleted scenes on YouTube.

Despite the backlash, OG continues to enjoy massive popularity. The film’s worldwide collection crossed ₹300 crore, cementing its place as one of the year’s biggest successes. The sleek action, stylish presentation, and Pawan Kalyan’s commanding performance were key highlights that drew audiences to theatres in droves.
The movie features a star-studded ensemble, including Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist, Priyanka Arul Mohan as the female lead, along with Prakash Raj, Shreya Reddy, Arjun Das, and Neha Shetty in a special number. Produced by DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari, the film’s music by Thaman S added to its mass appeal and emotional depth.
While They Call Him OG has now reached a wider audience through Netflix, fans remain hopeful that the filmmakers will soon unveil the much-demanded deleted scenes to offer a more complete viewing experience.
