This incident occurred just hours after a similar bomb threat was reported on a Varanasi-bound IndiGo flight at Delhi airport. The threat led to the evacuation of all staff and 176 passengers aboard the aircraft. A comprehensive search of the plane revealed the threat to be a hoax. According to an IndiGo spokesperson, the passengers will be accommodated on another flight to Varanasi, which is expected to depart at 11 am.
