Priyanka Chopra confirms the release date of new film ‘Tiger’
Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas has contributed her voice to Disney’s upcoming film ‘Tiger’ and took to social media to announce its release date. In the movie, she voices the lead character, a tigress named Amba, set in the jungles of India. The film is scheduled to release on April 22, coinciding with World Earth Day.
Sharing the film’s poster on Instagram, Priyanka expressed, “‘Tiger’ is a story that encapsulates the essence of the wild – tales of love, conflict, hunger, survival, and much more.” She also highlighted the eight-year-long journey of the film’s production. Describing the plot, she added, “In the vibrant jungles of India. Where creatures of all sizes and temperaments roam, we meet Amba – a tiger with an enduring legacy. Her nurturing of her cubs radiates such profound love that the timeless bond between mother and child is vividly portrayed.”
Eagerly anticipating the film’s release, Priyanka shared her excitement, saying, “I thoroughly enjoyed lending my voice to this remarkable tale. And immersing myself in the wilderness through this project. I can’t wait for you all to experience the jungle adventure with us!”

This isn’t the first time Priyanka has lent her voice to an animated film. She previously contributed to the 2016 movie ‘The Jungle Book,’ which also featured the voices of Shah Rukh Khan, Aryan Khan, Nana Patekar, Om Puri, and Shefali Shah.
In recent news, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, along with her singer-husband Nick Jonas and daughter Malti Marie Jonas, visited India. Celebrating the festival of Holi with friends and family. Several pictures from their celebrations surfaced on social media. Including an unseen picture of Priyanka posing with Malti and a family member. Additionally, a video showed Priyanka and Nick taking pictures with Malti on the balcony of their home.
Priyanka’s last cinematic appearance was in the 2023 romantic drama ‘Love Again.’ Up next, she has ‘Heads of State’ alongside Idris Elba and John Cena, and she recently announced her involvement in the Hollywood drama ‘The Bluff,’ co-starring Karl Urban.
