Ramayana Teaser to Debut at WAVES 2025
The highly anticipated mythological epic Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, is all set to create buzz once again. Featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles, this grand project is being made in two parts. And is considered one of the most ambitious films in Indian cinema history.
The film’s teaser will be showcased at the inaugural World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES) 2025. Which began yesterday in Mumbai and will continue until May 4. While this marks the first glimpse of the film. The teaser will be shown only at the event and not released for public viewing just yet. Fans will have to wait a little longer to see it officially.

Produced on a massive scale, Ramayana boasts an impressive cast with Yash playing the powerful role of Ravana. The film is jointly backed by Namit Malhotra’s DNEG and Yash’s production house, Monster Mind Creations. Adding to the grandeur, the music for the film is being composed by Oscar-winning legends AR Rahman and Hans Zimmer, promising a global cinematic experience.
The first part of Ramayana is expected to hit the big screens during Diwali 2026, with the second installment following in Diwali 2027. As the teaser is unveiled at WAVES 2025, excitement continues to grow around this mythological spectacle, which blends Indian storytelling with international production standards.
