Samantha Ruth Prabhu Shares Cryptic Note Indicating On Making a Difference
Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya were married for four years before their divorce. Recently, Samantha shared a cryptic message on her Instagram Stories, sparking speculation. This came just days after Telangana minister Konda Surekha made controversial claims about the couple’s split.
Konda Surekha alleged that KT Rama Rao was involved in the separation, claiming that he asked for Samantha to be sent to him in exchange for sparing Nagarjuna’s N-Convention Centre from demolition. According to Surekha, Samantha’s refusal to comply led to the divorce. “KTR asked for Samantha in return for not demolishing the convention centre. When she refused, it resulted in the divorce,” Surekha was quoted as saying.
Both Samantha and Naga Chaitanya have since responded to these claims. Samantha took to Instagram, stating, “To be a woman in this industry, to survive and stand tall despite personal and professional challenges takes immense strength.” She directly addressed Surekha, urging her to be responsible with her words, especially as a minister. “Please don’t trivialize my journey,” Samantha wrote, highlighting her pride in the person she has become.

Naga Chaitanya also issued a statement, calling the divorce a mutual decision based on their differing life goals. He emphasized that it was made peacefully, with respect and dignity. He further condemned the gossip and baseless rumors, stating that he had remained silent out of respect for Samantha and his family. Referring to Samantha as his “former spouse” in the statement, however, led to backlash from fans on social media.
In a related development, Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya’s father, has confirmed taking legal action against K Surekha. He revealed that a criminal defamation case has been filed, and another Rs 100-crore lawsuit is in process. While Surekha has reportedly apologized to Samantha, Nagarjuna expressed frustration, noting that no apology had been extended to his family.
