This project is even more intriguing because it’s directed by Vivek Athreya, with whom Nani previously collaborated on Ante Sundaraniki. The contrast between the two films is striking, and the duo deliberately chose this genre to showcase their versatility.
The much-anticipated theatrical trailer was launched yesterday, receiving an overwhelmingly positive response from fans. It introduces the antagonist, played by SJ Suryah, a domineering circle inspector whose arrogance is immediately evident. He finds himself at odds with the residents of Sokula Palem.
Enter the protagonist, Surya, portrayed by Nani, who stands as the protector of Sokula Palem’s people. Surya has a unique quirk: he only picks fights on Saturdays, but when he does, he’s relentless in defending his community. The film revolves around the intense clash between Nani’s character and SJ Suryah’s inspector for the sake of Sokula Palem.
