Siddhu Jonnalagadda Prepares for a Powerful Comeback with Badass
After a brief hiatus, Telugu actor Siddhu Jonnalagadda is all set to bounce back with his new film titled Badass. Teaming up once again with Krishna and His Leela director Ravikanth Perepu. This project promises to be a game-changer for both actor and filmmaker. The film is being jointly produced by Trivikram Srinivas and Naga Vamsi under the Sitara Entertainments banner.
Siddhu, who rose to fame with his unique charm and hit films, faced a setback with his previous release Jack, which was a commercial disaster. The film was pulled from theatres within three days, and Siddhu faced heavy criticism for his quirky portrayal of a RAW agent. The backlash led him to step away from the spotlight for a while.

However, he is now back with a bang. On July 9, 2025, the makers unveiled the first look of Badass, which shows Siddhu in a slick, edgy avatar. Dressed in black and lighting a cigar, his poster captioned “If Middle Finger Was a Man” hints at the rebellious tone of the film. The movie is expected to be a satirical comedy with a bold edge.
Director Ravikanth Perepu, whose last venture Bubblegum also failed at the box office, is eager for a fresh start with Badass. Meanwhile, Siddhu is simultaneously wrapping up another film Telusu Kada. Directed by Neeraja Kona, which is slated for an October 2025 release.
Production for Badass will begin soon in Hyderabad, following Sitara Entertainments’ ongoing project with Suriya. Reports suggest Siddhu’s character in Badass will carry a strong social message. The female lead and additional cast details will be revealed shortly.
