Swag OTT Release: Where to Watch Sree Vishnu Comedy Online
Sree Vishnu and Ritu Varma’s Telugu comedy Swag has made it to OTT! After releasing in theaters on October 4, 2024, the film is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Starting October 25, 2024, as announced by lead actress Ritu Varma.
Swag centers around characters from the fictional Swaganika dynasty, who claim an ancestral fortune. Blending humor with history, the movie travels between the 1550s and the present. Depicting a fictional storyline in which a male heir overturns a matriarchal rule in favor of patriarchy.
Directed by Hasith Goli, the story unfolds in a non-linear format, featuring Sree Vishnu in four distinct looks. Although Swag struggled at the box office, with critiques focusing on its confusing narrative, the cast’s performances received appreciation. The rapid shift to OTT is a result of the film’s lukewarm theatrical response.

The cast includes Sree Vishnu in multiple roles, with Ritu Varma in dual roles. Alongside talented actors like Sunil, Meera Jasmine, Daksha Nagarkar, Saranya Pradeep, Anand Bharathi, Ravi Babu, Prudhviraj, Gopa Raju, Ramana, and Getup Srinu.
Earlier this year, Sree Vishnu appeared in the horror-comedy Om Bheem Bush, directed by Sree Harsha Konuganti, where he shared the screen with Priyadarshi, Rahul Ramakrishna, Srikanth Iyengar, and Ayesha Khan. Looking forward, he is gearing up for his next project, tentatively titled SV18, a romantic comedy directed by Caarthick Raju of Ninu Veedani Needanu Nene fame, and announced on his birthday as an engaging, lighthearted love story.
