Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas Booked for Traffic Violation and Misconduct with Police
Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas has found himself in legal trouble. After being booked by the Hyderabad police for violating traffic rules and allegedly misbehaving with a police officer.
The incident reportedly occurred on May 15, 2025, in the Jubilee Hills area of Hyderabad. According to reports, the actor was headed toward the Journalists Colony when he took an illegal turn instead of following the correct U-turn at a junction.
When a traffic constable tried to intervene and stop him, Bellamkonda allegedly ignored the officer’s signal and continued driving. The constable reportedly had to step in front of the vehicle to enforce the stop. At which point the actor is said to have behaved in a disrespectful manner towards the officer.
Following the incident, a case was registered under appropriate sections of the Motor Vehicles Act and Bharat Nyaya Sanhitha (BNS). For both the traffic violation and misconduct towards a police official.

For those unfamiliar, Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas is the son of noted film producer Bellamkonda Suresh. He trained in acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in the U.S. and the Barry John Acting Studio in Mumbai before debuting in Telugu cinema with Alludu Seenu (2014), opposite Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The film was a commercial success, launching his career.
Since then, he has starred in films like Speedunnodu, Jaya Janaki Nayaka, and Kavacham. He later ventured into Bollywood with Chatrapathi, the Hindi remake of the Prabhas-starrer originally directed by SS Rajamouli.
On the professional front, Bellamkonda is gearing up for his next release, Bhairavam, and also has projects like Tyson Naidu and Haindava in the pipeline.
