Vijay Deverakonda Assures Fans He’s Safe After Minor Car Mishap
Actor Vijay Deverakonda, who’s been making headlines recently for reports about his engagement to actress Rashmika Mandanna, was involved in a minor car accident on Sunday. Although the couple has not officially confirmed their engagement, reports suggest the ceremony took place privately with close family and friends, and their wedding is likely to happen in February next year.
Over the weekend, Vijay traveled to Puttaparthi with friends to seek the darshan of Satya Sai Mahasamadhi. While returning to Hyderabad, his Lexus car met with a minor collision near Undavalli in Gadwal district when a Bolero vehicle suddenly swerved right. Fortunately, Vijay and his family escaped without any injuries and continued their journey in another vehicle.

Though the car sustained some damage, everyone on board was safe. Undavalli Sub-Inspector R. Shekar confirmed that Vijay’s driver, Srikanth, filed a case regarding the incident.
Addressing the situation, Vijay Deverakonda took to Twitter to reassure his fans. He wrote, “All is well… Car took a hit, but we are all fine. Went and did a strength workout as well and just got back home. My head hurts but nothing a biryani and sleep will not fix. So biggest hugs and my love to all of you. Don’t let the news stress you.”
On the work front, Vijay was last seen in Kingdom, directed by Gautam Tinnanuri, which released in July. He is currently filming a period drama under Rahul Sankrityan’s direction, produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Another project, directed by Ravi Kiran Kola and backed by Dil Raju, is presently in pre-production.
