Devara Worldwide Advance Booking to Cross 80 Crore For Day 1

Devara Part 1, directed by Koratala Siva and starring Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor, has already made waves ahead of its release by selling Rs 80 crore worth of tickets for its opening day. The film is poised for an explosive debut. Of the Rs 80 crore in pre-sales, Rs 49 crore comes from India, with Andhra Pradesh contributing significantly. While Rs 31 crore is from international markets, particularly North America, where ticket sales have been outstanding.

Devara Sets the Stage with Rs 80 Crore in Advance Ticket Sales, Gearing Up for a Massive Opening Day

With these strong pre-sales, Devara Part 1 is expected to have an opening day collection close to Rs 120 crore, and it could go even higher if the initial audience reception is positive. However, the Hindi-speaking market hasn’t shown the same enthusiasm yet, with the film’s trailer not resonating strongly in the North. While the bookings in mass circuits are decent, they aren’t significant. For the sequel to break out like Pushpa, word of mouth will be crucial.

Devara Set to Recover 35-40% of Its Theatrical Rights on Day One

The film is projected to recover 35-40% of its theatrical rights’ value on its first day. Which is an impressive achievement. While positive word of mouth will ensure its success, the filmmakers are aiming for more than just a hit—they are hoping for Devara to capture the Hindi market, which could significantly boost the sequel’s potential.

Jr NTR’s Smart Pan-India Strategy

Jr NTR has meticulously planned his Pan-India journey. In addition to Devara, he is also set to star in War 2 and is working on the highly anticipated NTR-Neel project, demonstrating his calculated approach to expanding his reach across the Indian cinema landscape.
