IMD Hyderabad Forecasts Further Rainfall as Telangana Receives Downpours

Telangana Braces for More Rainfall: IMD Hyderabad’s Forecast

Following scattered rainfall witnessed in select districts of Telangana yesterday. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) Hyderabad has issued forecasts predicting further downpours today.

As per data from the Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS), scattered rainfall was observed in various regions. Including Warangal, Narayanpet, Sangareddy, Nagarkurnool, Vikarabad, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Nizamabad, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Mulugu, Kamareddy, Kumaram Bheem, Adilabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, and Kamareddy yesterday.

IMD Hyderabad Forecasts Projections

The IMD Hyderabad anticipates additional rainfall across the state today and tomorrow. Thunderstorms and lightning are forecasted in districts such as Adilabad, Nirmal, Kumaram Bheem, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Mancherial, Rajanna Sircilla, Kamareddy, and Sangareddy today. On April 14, districts like Adilabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Sangareddy, and Medak are expected to experience rainfall, according to IMD Hyderabad.

Temperature Fluctuations

Despite the rainfall, many districts continue to experience maximum temperatures exceeding 42 degrees Celsius. Khammam recorded the highest maximum temperature at 42.1 degrees Celsius yesterday. Even in Hyderabad, the highest maximum temperature recorded in Shaikpet stood at 39.3 degrees Celsius.

However, the IMD a decline in temperatures across Telangana, ranging between 36 to 40 degrees Celsius, amidst the expected rainfall. Respite from heat to the people is all that means!
