Lokesh’s Tollywood Plans Take a New Turn Toward Allu Arjun
After Tamil filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj delivered a massive blockbuster with Vikram starring Kamal Haasan, discussions about his big Tollywood entry have been gaining serious heat. Ever since then, rumours have been swirling that the talented director is keen to collaborate with one of Telugu cinema’s top stars.
Although his recent film Coolie with Superstar Rajinikanth didn’t meet the sky-high expectations set by his previous works, the excitement surrounding his Telugu debut has not faded. In fact, over the past few days, the buzz has only intensified, with new speculations emerging every other day about who Lokesh will work with next.
The latest wave of reports suggested that Pawan Kalyan might lead Lokesh Kanagaraj’s first Telugu project under the KVN Productions banner. Even before fans could digest that rumour, another strong update surfaced — this time from the Kollywood circles.
Lokesh’s Tollywood Plans Take a New Turn Toward Allu Arjun
According to these new reports, Lokesh Kanagaraj recently narrated a futuristic, high-concept script to Allu Arjun, the Pushpa star who has become a pan-India sensation. Sources claim that Allu Arjun has not yet given his nod, as he is currently committed to his ambitious collaboration with director Atlee.
Interestingly, Allu Arjun has still not finalized his next film after the Atlee project. With Trivikram’s film pushed aside for now, fans are eagerly waiting for news about his next director. Given his rapid rise as a nationwide star, industry insiders believe that Allu Arjun will pick a director who can match his expanding pan-India appeal — making the possibility of a Lokesh–Allu Arjun film very much alive.
However, both are packed with immediate commitments. Lokesh is currently acting in a film, while Allu Arjun will be busy with Atlee’s project for at least a year. If the collaboration does happen, fans may have to wait a while before it officially materializes.
