The video showcases Parineeti crooning the iconic track “Pehle Lalkare Naal.” Originally sung by musical legends Amar Singh Chamkila and Amarjot Kaur. Intertwining her rendition with real-life footage of the dynamic duo, Parineeti’s post pays homage to the legendary singers.

In an emotional Instagram post, she wrote, “Curled up in my blanket. Overwhelmed with your words, calls, and movie reviews. (tears are not stopping) ‘PARINEETI IS BACK.’ These words are ringing loud. Hadn’t thought of this. Yes, I am back, and not going anywhere!”
Alongside Parineeti, Diljit Dosanjh’s portrayal of Amar Singh Chamkila has also earned acclaim, adding depth to the Imtiaz Ali directorial, which also stars Nisha Bano and Anjum Batra in pivotal roles.
