Pushpa 2 Producers Respond to Allu Arjun & Konidela Family

The producers of Pushpa 2 have addressed the ongoing rumors regarding a rift between Allu Arjun and the Mega family. Fans of the Mega family have been speculating about tensions ever since the 2024 Andhra Pradesh elections. The rumors gained momentum after Allu Arjun publicly supported YSR Congress Party MLA Silpa Ravi Chandra Kishore Reddy in Nandyal. At the same time, his uncle, Pawan Kalyan, ran in the elections as a candidate for the opposition. Pawan Kalyan later secured the position of Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

Allu Arjun’s appearance supporting the YSRC MLA sparked rumors of a family dispute, which quickly spread across social media. However, in a recent Hyderabad press conference, Pushpa 2: The Rule producers Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar addressed these speculations head-on.

When asked if these family tensions might affect the film’s box office success, Naveen admitted that there were minor issues during the elections. Still, he clarified, “There might have been small incidents during the elections, but politics aside, I believe all fans will come to see the movie. The family is on good terms with each other.”

Ravi Shankar further emphasized that no rift exists between Allu Arjun and his family, stating that Arjun’s visit to Nandyal was purely to support a friend and had nothing to do with taking sides. He added that Allu Arjun did not engage in politics during his visit.

Naveen also commented on the situation, recalling that when they met with the Deputy Chief Minister during the release of Kalki 2898 AD, they received strong support and expect the same cooperation going forward.

For context, Allu Arjun had earlier released a statement clarifying his neutral stance in political matters. He mentioned that while he supports his uncle Pawan Kalyan and his friend Ravi, he remains politically neutral. “I am not affiliated with any political party. I support my people, regardless of their political affiliations,” he said.

According to a report from Hindustan Times, a legal case was filed against Allu Arjun for allegedly violating the election code of conduct by attending a large public gathering without proper permission. The actor recently petitioned the Andhra Pradesh High Court, seeking to have the case dismissed.
