Raashi Khanna’s acting journey started with the film “Madras Cafe,” sharing the screen with John Abraham and Nargis Fakhri. After her debut in Hindi cinema, she ventured into South Indian cinema, starring in numerous successful films, solidifying her position as a prominent figure there. After an absence of 11 years, she made her Bollywood comeback with “Yodha,” alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Disha Patani.
The trailer and songs of “Yodha” captured widespread attention, sparking expectations of a successful run at the box office. However, the film fell short of these expectations.
Raashi Khanna’s come back movie Yodha did not make a mark at the box-office
Despite receiving positive reviews and praise for Raashii’s performance, luck didn’t seem to favor her as “Yodha” failed to leave a significant impact at the box office. With a reported budget of Rs. 55 crore, the film only managed to collect Rs. 28.95 crore, marking it as a commercial disappointment. In addition to her Hindi projects, Raashi appeared in OTT series like “Rudra” and “Farzi,”. Although the spotlight was largely on Ajay Devgn and Shahid Kapoor during their premieres.
Looking ahead, Raashi Khanna’s upcoming film “The Sabarmati Report” has generated interest with its recently released teaser. It remains to be seen whether this film will bring her the much-needed success in Hindi cinema. Especially as she competes alongside talented actors like Vikrant Massey and Ridhi Dogra. The movie is scheduled for release on May 3rd, 2024.
In her South Indian ventures, Raashi is set to appear in the Tamil film “Aranmanai 4,” slated for release next month, starring alongside Sundar C and Tamannaah Bhatia.
