Salman Khan to join A.R. Murugadoss ‘Sikandar’; Scheduled for Eid 2025 Release
On the occasion of Eid, Bollywood icon Salman Khan has unveiled his latest cinematic venture. “Sikandar,” directed by acclaimed filmmaker A.R. Murugadoss. Set to grace screens on Eid 2025, the announcement was made by Salman himself on Twitter. Accompanied by a teaser bearing the caption “Salman Khan in and as Sikandar,” and presented by Sajid Nadiadwala.
In his tweet, Salman extended Eid greetings and invited fans to witness the magic of “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” and “Maidaan”. This Eid, with the promise of meeting them again on the next Eid with “Sikandar.” This collaboration marks another chapter in Salman and Murugadoss’s professional journey. Having previously joined forces for the movie “Jai Ho,” where Murugadoss served as the writer.

Renowned for his directorial prowess, Murugadoss boasts an impressive repertoire including acclaimed films like “Kaththi,” “Dheena,” and “Stalin.” His Bollywood debut was marked by the 2008 Aamir Khan-starrer “Ghajini.” A Hindi adaptation of his Tamil blockbuster of the same name.
Notably, he directed the action-packed thriller “Thuppaki,” starring Vijay, along with numerous other notable projects such as Akshay Kumar’s “Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty” and the Vijay-starrer “Sarkar,” among others.
With “Sikandar,” the anticipation is high as fans eagerly await another cinematic masterpiece from the dynamic duo of Salman Khan and A.R. Murugadoss.
