The captain of Lucknow Super Giants, KL Rahul, admitted that they were completely outplayed. By the incredible power-hitting of Sunrisers Hyderabad’s openers, Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma. The duo put on a remarkable display of batting. Smashing unbeaten fifties to lead their team to a convincing 10-wicket win over LSG in a crucial IPL match.
In just 9.4 overs, they chased down a modest total of 166. With Head scoring 89 not out and Sharma scoring 75 not out. Rahul praised the incredible skills of the SRH openers. Saying that their batting was unreal and they made everything look easy.
He also blamed his team’s defeat on their poor display with the bat in the powerplay. From which they scored just 27 runs for the loss of two wickets. SRH skipper, Pat Cummins, also lauded the fantastic performance of Head and Sharma. Saying that it was an “unreal” display of batting.
