Akira Nandan spotted at theaters for Thammudu’s re-release
Pawan Kalyan’s son, Akira Nandan, was spotted at the theaters today for the re-release of his father’s film “Thammudu.”
In celebration of the 25th anniversary of Pawan Kalyan’s blockbuster “Thammudu,” Akira Nandan made an appearance at the theaters in Hyderabad to watch the iconic film. Originally released in 1999, “Thammudu,” written and directed by P.A. Arun Prasad, has remained a cult favorite among fans.
Dressed in a black hoodie and denim, Akira looked as dashing as his father. His presence at the theater caused quite a stir among fans, who were thrilled to see him.

Following the 2024 general elections, Akira garnered attention when he accompanied his father. Pawan Kalyan to meet the honorable Narendra Modi in Delhi. He also attended Chandrababu Naidu’s oath-taking ceremony in Vijayawada with his sister. And other members of the mega family, where their father was sworn in as the deputy chief minister.
“Thammudu” is based on the Aamir Khan movie “Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander,” which was inspired by the American film “Breaking Away.” It was also remade into Tamil and Kannada as “Badri” and “Yuvaraja,” starring Thalapathy Vijay and Shiva Rajkumar, respectively.
