Samantha Confirms Long-Awaited Update on Telugu Film Maa Inti Bangaram
After taking time off to focus on her recovery from myositis, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is slowly getting back to work. Her last Telugu outing was Kushi alongside Vijay Deverakonda in 2023. Since then, she’s shifted her focus toward storytelling and talent development through her production house, Tralala Moving Pictures.
On her birthday in April 2024, Samantha had announced her next Telugu project titled Maa Inti Bangaram. However, the film went silent for over a year with no updates—until now. During an Instagram Q&A session on Sunday, a fan asked her about her next Telugu film, to which Samantha responded, “Finally, I have an answer to this question. Maa Inti Bangaram is finally starting this month.”

Earlier this year, Samantha turned producer with Subham, which received a positive response. While promoting the film, she spoke about her production values, saying, “I never say never, but under Tralala Moving Pictures, I believe in equal skill, equal experience, and equal pay.”
Director Nandhini Reddy, who is set to helm Maa Inti Bangaram, echoed Samantha’s commitment to fairness, confirming that the actress-producer is ensuring equal pay for both men and women working on the project.
On the acting front, Samantha made a brief appearance in Subham. Her upcoming projects include Maa Inti Bangaram and Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom, produced by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK.
