After the release of Revolver Rita, actress Keerthy Suresh is enjoying appreciation for her performance, even as the film continues to receive mixed reactions from audiences. During the movie’s promotional rounds, the actress surprised fans by talking about her long-term dream of direction.

In a conversation with Gobinath, Keerthy revealed that she has always been inclined towards direction. However, turning that interest into reality may take some time.

She shared, “I definitely have a desire to direct. But right now, I don’t have the time to take it up. For the past five years, I’ve been jotting down ideas whenever I travel. I use those moments to think, write, and discuss storylines with my friends—many of whom are now assistant directors. I also listen to the scripts they bring to me.”

Keerthy also opened up about the tough choices she had to make to build her path in cinema. She admitted that she had turned down several projects purely based on instinct.
“It was my intuition and clarity about where I wanted my career to go. My family, with all their experience, often advised me to accept some of those offers. But I trusted my gut and said no. And in many cases, that instinct proved right. Those decisions helped me grow and move ahead in the industry,” she explained.
