Senior Telugu Desam Party leader Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary has been appointed as the Pro-tem Speaker of the house to administer the oath to the members.

Today, the Janasena chief, Pawan Kalyan, entered the Assembly and took his oath, marking a significant “Ane Nenu” moment. Invited to the ceremony, he reached the podium amid cheers and applause. After taking the oath, he greeted Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary, and the two exchanged pleasantries.

It’s worth noting that earlier, YCP leaders had declared they would not allow Pawan to enter the Assembly, and Mudragada Padmanabham even said he would change his name if Pawan succeeded. However, Pawan Kalyan proved his resilience and won the seat with a record margin.

Now holding the position of Deputy Chief Minister along with other crucial portfolios, Pawan Kalyan recently took charge and entered his camp office, signing two files on his first day in office.
