Manchu Vishnu issues 48-hour ultimatum for YouTubers and Mamers

The controversy surrounding YouTuber-actor Praneeth Hanumanthu for his objectionable comments against children. While roasting a reel involving a father and daughter has escalated, drawing the attention of the governments of the two Telugu states. Hanumanthu was arrested for his sexist remarks, prompting many film celebrities to express their outrage.

In response, MAA president Manchu Vishnu issued a stern warning to YouTubers and memers. Demanding the removal of abusive, disturbing, and obscene memes and videos from their channels within 48 hours. He emphasized that offensive comments and content targeting actors and actresses would no longer be tolerated.

Vishnu stated that if the content is not taken down, he will review and report it to cybercrime authorities. Ensuring legal action is taken. He also mentioned that legendary actor Brahmanandam has voiced his displeasure over the use of his clips and pictures in obscene memes. Vishnu called for support from the governments of the Telugu states to address this issue.

The digital world erupted in criticism following controversial remarks by Praneeth Hanumanthu, the popular YouTuber and actor, who is also the son of IAS officer Arun Kumar Hanumanthu. His comments on a viral father-daughter video sparked outrage, leading to celebrities and the general public demanding stringent action against him. In response, Telangana CM Revanth Reddy directed the police to file an FIR against Praneeth.
