A film with a mega-budget and an amazing star cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Prabhas in lead roles. The theme song speaks about the anticipation of Kalki or Lord Krishna’s incarnation in Kali Yuga.

The trailer has already heightened fans’ excitement. Adding to the buzz, the theme song of Kalki 2898 AD was recently released. This vibrant and devotional track is an ode to Lord Krishna, sung by Kaala Bhairava, Ananthu, and Gowtham Bharadwaj, with the chorus and music by Santhosh Narayanan.

The use of traditional Indian instruments like the Veena, along with electronic elements, gives the track a heavenly aura. The lyrics, penned by Oscar-winning composer Chandrabose, have resonated deeply with listeners, making the theme song go viral upon release. Fans are raving about this masterpiece.

As of June 24, over 2.1 lakh tickets had reportedly been sold, generating a revenue of Rs 6.25 crore within 24 hours. In North America, over 1,13,000 tickets were sold, resulting in a collection of USD 3 million on the first day. Kalki 2898 AD has also recorded impressive non-theatrical business, grossing Rs 375 crore by selling its rights to multiple OTT platforms.

In an interview, shared his box office predictions for Kalki 2898 AD. Stating, “Based on what we’re witnessing down south, the first day numbers are going to be humongous. Prabhas has a huge fan following overseas as well, where his films do well. Overall, in all languages, I’m confident it is set for a fantastic start with Rs 100 crore gross on day one for all languages.”
